Celeste Green was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to South Carolina in 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from Westminster Choir College in 2011 and has extensive experience in child care, music, and preschool teaching.

APPROACH
Celeste is motivated by a desire to help and positively impact the lives of struggling children and families outside of the classroom.

She operates from a person-centered and humanistic framework. She believes deeply in the inherent goodness of all people and is devoted to helping her clients understand that for themselves. 

HISTORY
Upon receiving her masters degree in social work, Celeste began working with the South Carolina Department of Social Services in Child Protective Services.

She helped parents increase their protective capacity by providing social and emotional support and accountability, and referrals to community organizations or services that could assist them in reaching their goals.

• Administrative services manager with the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas in 2021 where she received administrative and supervisory experience.
• Clinical social work licensure in the Spring of 2023
• Medical case manager with Affinity Health Center in Rock Hill, SC, serving mainly adults living with HIV/AIDS.

Celeste is thrilled to be joining Innovation Counseling Services and to be providing essential mental health support to students in Union County Schools.
