About Me

Life brings both moments of resilience and seasons of struggle, and I believe no one should have to walk through those challenges alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC- A) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I strive to provide a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore their stories, process pain, and move toward growth and empowerment.

My experience includes supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and suicidal ideation, as well as helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, truancy concerns, identity development, and life transitions. I have worked in crisis settings, individual counseling, and group facilitation, always seeking to center compassion, cultural awareness, and collaboration. Although I am not formally certified in a single therapeutic modality, I have been mentored by supervisors who utilize Somatic Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and these experiences have shaped my integrative approach. I hope to pursue certification in these areas to deepen my practice. I often draw from those mentioned modalities and person- centered principles, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and values of my clients.

Beyond direct practice, I am passionate about advocacy and research. I serve as the Legislative Ambassador for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), advancing mental health policy at the state and federal levels to support SC. I also actively work with the South Carolina Counseling Association, serving on the Advocacy in Action Committee and Graduate Student Committee to further support the field of counselors. I am honored to walk alongside clients of all backgrounds and ages, helping them discover strength and find hope in their healing journey.
